Honey BBQ Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup ketchup

  • 1/2 cup Appin Bees Honey

  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine ketchup, Appin Bees Honey, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).

  2. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

  3. Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. The sauce will thicken as it cooks.

  4. Remove the sauce from heat and let it cool slightly before using. Store any leftover sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
