39TH BARBECUE FESTIVAL
The Barbecue Festival, set in historic Uptown Lexington, will be located on Main Street and adjoining side streets between 4th Street and 5th Avenue.
Lexington is located in the Piedmont, just 20 miles south of Winston-Salem at the intersection of US 29/70 and US 52. Lexington is also accessible from Business and Interstate 85 between Greensboro and Charlotte.
Holly Arts & Crafts Festival
Please join us for the Holly Arts & Crafts Festival. Support the livelihood of our businesses, local pop-up vendors, and restaurants!
The festival combines the talents of over 200 hand-crafters in a variety of genres – from woodworking to glass, stitched art to lawn ornaments, hand-crafted jewelry to metal sculpture.
Downtown boutiques, shops, galleries, and restaurants offer specials and sales.
Kids Zone and Family Picnic Area located in Tufts Memorial Park.
Food trucks will also be available in the park.
John Blue festival
The annual John Blue Cotton Festival is held on the grounds of the historic John Blue home. A family oriented event, the festival offers activities for folks of all ages. It includes tours of the home and early 1800s cabins, exhibits, a mule powered cotton gin, antique tractors, hit and miss engines, train rides, live entertainment, a museum, crafts, hayrides, pony rides, children's games and food galore!
Carolina Indie Fest
Carolina Indie Fest is an all original, multi-day music festival hosted in downtown Sanford, NC around Hugger Mugger Brewing. This festival celebrates the originality and diversity of Indie musical artists from near and far.
Thousands of music fans flock to this unique festival yearly. This festival features food trucks, crafty local vendors, and a seemingly endless supply of delicious beer from Hugger Mugger Brewing.
Carolina Indie Fest is completely sponsored by local businesses who enjoy supporting a premier music festival in an area rich in music tradition.
The International Folk Festival
Since 1978. All nationalities join together each year at The Arts Council's International Folk Festival to honor and celebrate our diverse cultural heritage as ONE COMMUNITY. Our love for the ARTS unites everyone from all backgrounds and ages who appreciate the experience of touring native lands, learning about cultural traditions, and embracing our differences to inspire a more inclusive community for all.
Hog Day
The festival has been running since 1983 and raises funds for youth programs and services throughout the county. As the county's largest and oldest event, we feature a BBQ contest, arts and craft vendors, car show, children’s area and much more in historic downtown Hillsborough. Held in mid-September, we have been featured year after year as one of the top events in the southeast and the country.

Paws in the Park Pineville, NC
"Paws in the Park" is one of the largest dog events in the Charlotte area hosted by Charlotte Black Dogs, it is held in April in the beautiful Pineville Lake Park in Pineville.

Autumnfest
Presented by the Arts Council of Moore County and the Southern Pines Recreation & Parks Dept. since 1978, the next Autumnfest will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022, from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm in the beautiful Downtown Park
